How it got started |
Creating a website about the flora of the Mariana Islands has been a long interest of mind, most especially a website that focuses on having the Chamoru language as one of the main languages used. I finally got the push that I needed when I was given the opportunity to be hired under the Research Experience for Teachers: Ecology of Bird Loss Project during the summer of 2015. Being that I love being outdoors, when I say the flyer about the project and the RET requirements, I jumped at the opportunity to learn about the project and to learn as much as I could so that my students would benefit. I would like to thank Dr. Haldre Rogers and all the people working for and associated with the Ecology of Bird Loss Project. If you would like to know more about EBL, there is a link on the home page.

Furture Plans |
I accept the fact that a website like this is always going to have to be updated and needs to continue to grow and expand, so that it can be utilized as a great resource. I will continue to collect pictures, information and ideas; so that this website will continue to grow. I also plan on either creating another website or combining this website to include animals.
